Tournaments & Facility Rules

1. Cashless Facility

• All ticketing is online; QR code available at the entrance.
• Concessions accept credit, debit, and Apple Pay only.

2. Facility Access

• Doors open 30 minutes before the event start time.
• For volleyball tournaments, doors will open for players only 45 minutes prior to the event start time.
• Parents and spectators may enter approximately 30 minutes before the event start time.
• Emergency exits are for emergencies only.

3. Food & Drink

• Water only may be brought inside.
• No outside food, snacks, or coolers of any kind.
• Full concessions are available for your convenience.

4. Court & Equipment Use

• No ball handling outside the courts (no wall-setting on marked walls).
• Athletes & staff ONLY on the playing surface.
• No camera stands/tripods on the sport court (concrete only).
• No blocking court entryways or walkways to film/photograph.
• Please be courteous to spectators seated near the railing.
• Do not sit, stand, or climb on KU equipment.

5. Spectator Seating

• Courtside seating is provided by KU.
• No personal chairs on the first floor – upstairs only.
• Outside/personal chairs are welcome upstairs only.
• Handicap access is on the first floor only. No elevator. 
• Do not move chairs inside painted lines or caution tape.
• Walkways must remain clear.
• Please refrain from leaning, sitting on, or climbing the upstairs railing.

6. Conduct & Safety

• Children must be supervised at all times.
• Unsportsmanlike or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the facility.
• No smoking, vaping, or tobacco products.
• No alcohol permitted.
• Restricted / staff-only areas must remain clear.

7. Pets / Service Animals

• Only registered service animals are permitted in the building.

8. Spills / Safety Hazards

• Please notify staff immediately if a spill or hazard occurs to prevent injury.

9. Lost & Found

• Lost items will be held at the front desk for 3 days post event. 

10. Parking & Personal Property

• Do NOT park at the YMCA. Vehicles parked there are subject to towing at the owner’s expense.
• You may park on the street, at Kohl’s, or at HEB. As a courtesy, we encourage you to shop or visit these retailers as a thank-you for allowing us to use their parking areas.
• Parking is at your own risk. KU is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen property.

11. Policy Enforcement

• Katy United reserves the right to refuse entry or remove anyone who does not comply with facility rules or staff instructions.
